High-performance pre-top graphics card for building powerful gaming configurations. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a model of the highest price category, capable of becoming one of the main components of gaming systems with FullHD and QuadHD (WQHD) resolution monitors. It features a highly efficient proprietary cooling system Windforce 3X, which is based on two composite heat pipes, a system of powerful aluminium radiators and three 80 mm fans with a special shape of Unique Blade blades.
In addition, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD graphics card has a small factory overclock, which further increases its performance. The heart of this model is the nVidia GP104-200 graphics processor, which provides sufficient performance for stable and comfortable gameplay in modern AAA-class gaming titles at the highest possible graphics settings and FullHD resolution.
The situation is much the same when using QuadHD monitors, however, in some cases, the minimum frame rate can drop significantly. The card consumes more than 150W of electrical power, requires one additional PCI-E 8-pin power connector and a power supply that delivers 500W or more. Multi-monitor configurations and virtual reality visualization tools (VR headsets and helmets) are supported.
