Samyang 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS

Wide-angle prime lens with an eye for landscape photography, available in a wide variety of versions for many SLR and mirrorless systems. The model is designed to work with cameras that have an APS-C image sensor or a smaller format (for example, Micro 4/3). The optical structure of the lens is based on 13 elements in 11 groups. At the same time, one low dispersion ED lens, one aspherical optical lens, and one hybrid aspherical element were included in the scheme.

In addition, the lenses are coated with a multi-layer anti-reflective UMC coating, which provides good light transmission. But the Samyang 16mm f / 2.0 ED AS UMC CS focuses exclusively manually - there is no automatic focusing drive “under the hood” of the model. It is supposed to focus from a minimum distance of 20 cm from the plane of the camera matrix. The wide-angle prime is assembled in a durable metal case with dimensions of 83x86 mm and a weight of 583 g. There is a thread on the front rim of the lens for installing filters with a diameter of 77 mm.
