The replacement for the D3000 turned out to be more than worthy. D5500 is two heads taller than her. A good semi-professional or advanced amateur SLR camera. 24MP matrix and it's not just a shitty bunch of marketing pixels sucked from your finger, these are real pixels. The matrix, of course, is not full-frame, but the detail of the pictures at low ISOs is beyond praise. There is little noise up to 1600 inclusive, the brightness is already noticeable above, from 6400 there is also a weak color noise. Autofocus is sharp, pedantic and fast at the same time. But when looking at the display, everything is not so beautiful.
The swivel touch display also pleased with a high-quality picture with good viewing angles and touch amenities. The work with fingers in LiveView mode is especially in demand. Comfortable case made of high-quality plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. Management is familiar, no problems. The weight of 900g for the carcass + zoom set is just for children.
