During my life I buy not the first heater and, most often, the old rule works. Well-known brands do not do nonsense. That is why I also took home the branded Electrolux oil cooler. But even "there is a hole in the old woman", this time the correct rules worked only half. It happens. The main thing is to understand this in time, carefully return it to the original packaging and take it back to the store. Which is what I did. Nine-section, with a large heat transfer area. The more sections and the greater their total area, the faster the radiator gives off its heat to the air in the room. At the same time, Electrolux managed to fit these nine sections into a size larger than typical for seven-section models. As with any good heater, there is a step change in power. The device can operate in three modes: 800, 1200 or 2000 watts. Equipped with wheels, there is a handle for transportation. During storage, the electric cable with the plug will not hang under your feet, there is a special place for it. The main problem is that the thermostat works much earlier than the entire oil cooler warms up well. That is, at the moment of switching on, it operates at full permitted power, warms up and at 70-75 degrees of temperature in the lower part of the heater the thermal relay is activated. At the same time, the upper part manages to heat up only up to 60-65. It may just be unlucky and this is a separate unsuccessful instance, but for me personally, this is not easier. |

Я работаю в бюджетной организации и капитальный ремонт в нашем здании еще советской постройки не проводился никогда. Сами понимаете, в каком состоянии сейчас находятся те еще деревянные окна. Зимой это выливается в жуткий холод и огромные потери тепла. Менять окна за свой счет я конечно не буду, но мы с коллегами скинулись и купили этот масляный радиатор, потому как здоровье дороже стоит. Обогревает комнату 13,5 квадратных метров и справляется с этой задачей на отлично. Имеет три ступени регулирования мощности 600-900-1500 ватт, соответственно. Это позволяет гибко настраивать в зависимости от того как греют батареи и какай температура в комнате. Но чаще всего он работает в позиции 900 вт. Есть удобная ручка для переноски, парочка колесиков для перевозки по полу и достаточно удобное место для укладки сетевого шнура. Весит немного, всего 8 кг. Но это для масляного радиатора достаточно сомнительное достоинство. Еще мне нравится как он выглядит – сдержанно и строго. Конечно, этот так называемый Electrolux это совсем не то, что продавалось под этой славной торговой маркой на нашем рынке 10-15 лет назад. Сейчас это дешевенький, минимально качественный китайский масляный радиатор, на котором от известной европейской компании только название бренда. Металл радиатора тоненький, колесики хлипкие, терморегулятор работает исправно, но щелкает так, что соседям слышно. Гарантия всего 12 месяцев. |

Many of them also like the neat appearance of the device and relatively small dimensions.
Temperature support function
At the same time, the owners in the reviews complain that turning the device on and off with a thermostat is accompanied by loud clicks. By maintaining the temperature at the same level, the heater works intermittently and each period of operation will be “marked” by sound signals. It is unlikely that they will interfere with watching TV, but this point is worth considering if you plan to heat the room at night.
Heater power
The Electrolux has 9 sections and is more powerful than the 7 section models. Its minimum power is 0.8 kW, the average is 1.2 kW, and the maximum is 2 kW. This series includes models with different capacities. For example, EOH / M-3157 and EOH / M-3221, operating at 0.6, 0.9, 1.5 kW and 1, 1.2, 2.2 kW, respectively. Electrolux devices do not have fan heaters, which increase the effect of heating the room, but also increase energy consumption. Another difference from low-cost models: power selection is performed not by pressing buttons, but by turning a more convenient round knob.
Drop protection
The instructions for oil heaters usually state that they can only be used vertically and should be turned off immediately if they fall on their side. Such incidents rarely happen, even if small children are playing nearby ... Just in case, Electrolux has provided “protection” against such troubles — a built-in sensor will turn off the device when it rolls over to the floor or deviates from its usual position.
