The BERNINA Bernette Chicago 5 is equipped with a horizontal rotary hook, a 7-segment feed dog to feed all types of fabric reliably and a powerful 70W motor that can sew up to 800 stitches per minute. By the way, during operation it is not necessary to use the foot pedal - you can sew using the "Start / Stop" button.

Flexible sewing settings deserve special attention: electronic needle puncture force stabilizer, smooth adjustment of stitch length and width, up/down needle stop button, reverse (reverse) function to secure the seam, adjustment of presser foot pressure and thread tension, as well as two-level lifting of the foot with fixation for working with materials of different thicknesses. For more convenient use, the manufacturer has added LED illumination of the working area, a needle threader and a sleeve platform for processing sleeves, trousers and similar items of clothing.
