For me, the 10th generation Kindle Paperwhite was the best reader option. A weighty criterion when choosing was the small size of the book (so that it fits comfortably in your hand and fits comfortably in your jacket pocket), touch screen and backlight (for those who like to read at night - this should be the first criterion !!!). Based on the reviews on the network, I settled on this model and did not lose. In terms of workmanship, I can compare it with Apple in the world of e-books. And it doesn't matter that this book does not support such popular formats as EPUB and FB2, you can find all books in mobi format on the net (or use a converter). The settings in the book are enough to make it comfortable to read. With a pixel density of 300ppi, the letters look crisp, just like on a regular paper page. The backlight is enough for the eyes (24 backlight steps). Of the goodies, I can single out IPX8 water protection (according to the manufacturer, the book can spend 1 hour under water at a depth of 2 meters) - lovers of reading a book in the bathroom will be delighted). Touch control is clear, the book reacts instantly to touch, lags are not detected. The charge holds for a long time. With moderate reading, about 1 hour a day with 18 point backlighting, the book still had 17% charge left after 2 months of reading. 8GB of internal memory is enough to create a decent library of your favorite books. The presence of illumination. Waterproof. Touch screen. Excellent build quality. Reads too few book formats. No charger included (only cord). Case not included (purchased separately). A superstar among the rest of the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite e-readers. It has a lot of advantages over other readers, but it suits me best because of the reading mode on a black background. I usually read in the evening and at night. In the light of a not bright table lamp, after an hour of reading, the eyes begin to get very tired and ache. It happens on a white background before the eyes begin to "dance" black spots and dots. And only white letters on a black background allow the eyes not to strain as much as in the usual reading. The book works without charging for 2 and a half months, a very fast interface (probably the fastest among other books). Good investment in the future. The function of reading white letters on a black background - helps not to overstrain the eyes and comfortably read in the dark. An easy way to upload new books to the reader is to send them to your mailbox (pre-created amazon account).
