Sports waterproof wireless Bluetooth headset using PremiumPitch+ 2 bone conduction technology. Unlike conventional full-ear, in-ear or ear-canal headphones, this model is gently pressed against the bones of the cheekbones near/above the ear. The digital audio signal is decoded by a high-speed chipset and, with the help of piezodynamic emitters, is converted into specially modulated vibrations, which are transmitted to the eardrum through the bones of the skull.
The main advantage of this technology over the classical one is the completely open ears, which give the user the opportunity to fully perceive the sounds of the environment. This allows you to safely use AfterShokz Aeropex headphones in ever-changing and not always safe urban environments. This headset is perfect for daily running and intensive sports (including cycling, skateboarding, regular/roller skating, etc.). A secure earhook keeps the headset on your head during sudden accelerations, harsh shocks and vibrations. Water protection complies with the IPX67 standard, which allows you not to be afraid of precipitation, sweat and withstand short dives to a depth of 1 m. The energy of the integrated battery is enough for 6 hours of battery life.
