— a family of multifunctional electronic dictionaries from the Russian company ABBYY. In addition to the actual dictionaries for translating words from one language to another, it offers extensive additional functionality: explanatory and educational dictionaries for individual languages, pronunciation of words, grammar courses, integration with other applications for translation on the fly, without opening the actual dictionary, as well as word-for-word translation of texts (full machine translation is not supported). Lingvo dictionaries are distributed under a classic perpetual license in home, office, and corporate versions (each of these options includes several editions).
