Almost all such screens are made in colour; for more details on the advantages of colour displays, see the relevant paragraph. And the sensor significantly expands the control options, making it more convenient and intuitive. Firstly, it allows you to display a wide variety of controls (buttons, sliders, counters, interactive menus, etc.), and for each situation you can use your own, most optimal set of such elements. Secondly, for some tasks — for example, viewing a large-format layout, with zooming and moving — the touchscreen is simply more convenient than traditional controls. At the same time, nowadays, the price of such screens is relatively low, and compared to the cost of the plotters themselves, it is not noticeable at all. So almost every colour screen in a modern plotter is also a touch screen.
