The Gaming series keyboards from REAL-EL are not much different from other low-cost keyboards for gamers. All of them are well assembled, use a classic wired connection and are equipped with backlight (except for the REAL-EL Gaming 8400). The quality of the backlight, the type of layout or the format of the keys depend on the specific modification. In some cases, the buyer can count on a full-fledged metal base, as in adult mechanical keyboards. And this is a bonus to both stability and durability.

Most often, the Gaming series keyboards use a full-size format (JIS) with high-set membrane keys with tactile feedback. But there are also unusual options like the compact membrane REAL-EL 8710 TKL. This is an analogue of the shortened TKL keyboards a la Razer BlackWidow Lite and SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL, which removed the unnecessary Num block for games. Usually such things are expensive ― for a reason they are called esports keyboards. But in the case of the REAL-EL 8710 TKL, we are talking about a price just below $20.

It is also one of the few lines of gaming products in which you can save on buying a kit. A great option for a simple gaming PC can be a set of REAL-EL 9500, consisting of a massive membrane keyboard and a weighty 135-gram mouse with a sensor resolution of 3200 dpi. The keyboard weighs almost 1 kg and is firmly attached to the table, and the mouse is equipped with a pair of rubberized pads that reduce sliding. Both the mouse and the keyboard have multi-colour backlighting.
