Irrespective of the value of the verification interval (e), the operating range of the balance must contain at least 50,000 such intervals, and the LWL must be at least 100d. The error of such devices in practical use is less than 1e for weights up to 50,000e, 2e for weights from 50,000e to 200,000e, and 3e for weights over 200,000e.
