Interestingly, the history of the company began relatively recently - it was founded in 1992 by inventor James Dyson. Legend has it that he was dissatisfied with the performance of the bagged vacuum cleaner he had purchased and decided to improve it by developing a brand new cyclone system. It was in 1979. The inventor liked the result so much that he even decided to establish the production of such vacuum cleaners and created a company for their manufacture. It turned out to be quite difficult, Dyson did not have sufficient funds, and none of the investors wanted to invest in an untested solution.

Finally, Dyson was able to conclude a contract with the Japanese company Apex Inc., as a result of which the G-Force vacuum cleaner appeared on the market. The model turned out to be successful and in demand. Thanks to its sales, the inventor eventually managed to raise enough funds to create his own company. In 1992, the first vacuum cleaner under the Dyson brand appeared.

Dyson is interesting because it invests huge amounts of tens of millions of dollars in the development of new systems and regularly invests in research and development. In 2004, the James Dyson Award was established, which is given to talented students who have managed to create something unusual. To date, the company has received more than 1,300 patents, which, you see, is quite a lot for a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and climate control equipment.
