A large and relatively affordable 4K SMART TV with a 54.6-inch frameless screen, the popular Android TV 10 operating system, a set of high-speed network interfaces and support for direct wireless video output from gadgets. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a product of the middle price category in 2021, focused on use as a home TV or a key element of a personal cinema.
It is equipped with a performant Mediatek MT9611 quad-core ARM processor, working in conjunction with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. The screen with a physical diagonal size of 138 cm is based on a high-quality LCD matrix with a resolution of 3840x2160 and a controlled LED backlight. According to the manufacturer, such a matrix can fully display more than a billion colours and has an impressive colour gamut (DCI-P3 94%), which allows the Xiaomi Mi TV P1 55 TV to work correctly with HDR images (HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision). The built-in tuner can receive analogue and digital broadcasts of DVB-T2/C/S2 formats). SMART system based on Android TV 10 provides convenient access to streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Megogo). There is an Internet browser and full access to the Google Play app store. The sound subsystem can decode/play Dolby Digital and Digital Theater System HD audio.

Everything is wonderful. The picture is amazing. Samsung with its own TVs for 20k is highly reliable. If there will soon be problems with smart TV, then I’ll just buy a set-top box for the TV and this problem will disappear, otherwise I’ll overpay as much as 50% for just access to the TV station, which is already the case and I don’t watch TV anyway. Therefore, I chose this option and I don’t regret it.
