Свой первый смартфон я купил пять лет назад и с тех пор количество полезных функций, которыми я пользуюсь, непрерывно растет. А недавно я поймал себя на мысли, что обычные телефонные функции (ведь это прежде всего телефон) начинают терять лидерство и я стал больше говорить по Viber. Google disk, Google docs и Google Fit, gmail, Telegram, Навител навигатор, приложения для чтения книг, онлайн-банкинга и вызова такси – это далеко не полный список того чем я часто пользуюсь. Так что покупка этой продвинутой модели ведущего китайского бренда стала приятным событием. Теперь управляться с приложениями стало проще и удобнее. Модель флагманская и для таких спецификаций цена в 400$ вполне адекватна, а по сравнению с флагманами корейцев ее даже можно назвать низкой. За эту цену я получил крупный 5,7 дюймовый IPS экран, выполненный по технологии без воздушного зазора и защищенный красивым закаленным 2.5D-стеклом. Это как раз тот случай когда Full HD разрешение действительно полезно и даже необходимо. Обслуживает этот экран высокой четкости один из самых мощных 4-х ядерных процессоров с 4-я гигабайтами памяти и отличной графической частью. Смартфон работает под управлением Android 6.0 c фирменной оболочкой от Xiaomi. Работает все быстро и плавно, хотя, честно говоря, я б предпочел чистый Android. Понравился металлический корпус темно-серебристого цвета. Несмотря на небольшие пластиковые вставки, он плотно сбит и смотрится убедительно. Смартфон делает хорошие фотографии, но от сдвоенной основной камеры я ожидал большего. Громкий и четкий динамик, хорошо звучат наушники. Прямо со старта львиную долю памяти занимают предустановленные приложения, большую часть которых нельзя удалит без получения root-прав. Но это может привести к потере гарантии, поэтому делать этого я пока не собираюсь. Толку от сдвоенных камер немного. Реально расширенный динамический диапазон получается только на монохромных снимках (wtf?). Цветные выглядят почти также как и в обычном режиме. Лучше бы оптическую стабилизацию поставили вместо второй матрицы. |

Firmware
Mi5S Plus runs Android 6.0.1 with the latest generation of MIUI firmware. Update support pleases with regularity, and MIUI itself is excellent in functionality, convenience and colorfulness.
"Iron"
Mi-5s Plus performance test in Antutu shows 155K points. And this is a very powerful result for today, included in the top 5. "Iron" easily handles with any load, and the metal case almost does not heat up.
Dual camera
The Mi-5s Plus features a Sony 13-megapixel dual front-facing camera with excellent light sensitivity and contrast, capable of capturing 4K video and slow motion video. The trick of the dual camera is that it allows you to create macro shots with a blur effect in the background, almost the same as SLR optics can do, but in Mi5S Plus this effect is created exclusively by software. Against the background of the main camera, the front one upsets. It is quite modest, only 4 megapixels, and is unlikely to satisfy the needs of selfie lovers.

The capacity of the 3800 mAh lithium-polymer battery is enough for 9 hours of video playback or intensive Internet surfing in wi fi and 3G mode. And the Quick Charge 3.0 function will provide a full charge in 1.5 hours.
Interfaces
The model is equipped with an innovative USB Type-C connector, the plus of which is versatility, which at first can be some inconvenience for those who are used to carrying a bunch of different chargers and wires with them. There is also support for OTG and NFC. DLNA and IrDa data transfer (IR port) allows you to use Mi5s Plus in conjunction with multimedia devices, for example, as a TV remote control.
Mi-5s Plus works with 2 sim cards, but does not support SD card. The amount of internal memory here is limited to 64 GB, which, in general, is not critical. However, for those for whom 64 GB is not enough, a 128 GB version is offered, but this is from a different price category.
