Xerox's Phaser Office Printer is a full colour solution with high performance and good print quality (laser technology up to 2400x1200 dpi). The model can be used in workgroups that need to print about 3,000 pages every month. But if necessary, the monthly load can be increased many times, up to 50,000 prints. The Xerox Phaser 6510DN printer will deliver the first page in 12 seconds, and then the rate of work will be 28 ppm, both in black and white and in colour.
Support for duplex printing will increase the convenience of workflow: accordingly, you do not need to manually turn the paper over. A keypad with a small monochrome display is proposed for control. You can connect the model directly to a personal computer (using USB 3.0) or use it as a shared network device (when connected to the Internet or a local network via a LAN port). Plus, a Wi-Fi module can be an additional option, which must be purchased separately.

I came across this LED printer at a new place of work, we can say that we got to know him quite well. I confess that Xerox technique has never fallen into my hands before, this is the first copy and it left a positive impression. The first thing that caught my eye is, oddly enough, the connection interface. I did not even know that there are printers with high-speed USB 3.0 ports. However, here it is just right - color images with a resolution of 600 dpi or more are really high and the high transfer rates of USB 3.0 are really in demand here. The full resolution of this model is 2400x1200 dpi, which allows you to create really high-quality black and white and color prints. And this resolution allows you to print quite normal photos. In practice, this makes it possible to create premium-class presentation materials. Moreover, the printing is not only high-quality, but also fast, up to 28 ppm, which is at the level of laser ones similar in cost, or even faster. It is noteworthy that monochrome prints are output as quickly as color prints. This model can perform automatic two-sided printing, which is convenient when reproducing booklets. The printer comes with a 2,500 page black toner cartridge (but only 1,500 pages of toner is loaded) and 1,000 page color toner cartridges. Additional toner cartridges are available for purchase. The monthly output volume recommended by the manufacturer is 2500 A4 pages. Quite expensive branded consumables. However, they are not cheap from all manufacturers. There is no USB 3.0 cable included, that is, no USB cable was included at all. There were some difficulties with setting up the network interface, it didn’t work out on our own, I had to call a specialist. |
