I bought a navigator on Android, because I thought that it was more promising than such devices on Windows CE. Maybe in theory it is so, but in reality everything turned out to be somewhat different. Android itself needs significant resources and normal operation is possible only if the navigator has a powerful dual-core processor and at least a gigabyte of internal memory. There is also half the memory and the processor is old, single-core. Good bracket for mounting to the windscreen. Holds securely, the angles of rotation are large enough. There is built-in WiFi, can connect to the Internet. The screen with a diagonal of five inches has a resolution of 800x480 pixels, which is quite large for such a screen. The picture on such a screen looks good, individual pixels are invisible. Able to play audio and video files in a variety of formats. True, with such a screen size, this is not a very strong competitive advantage. Built-in memory of 8 GB, can be expanded with a micro SD memory card. I inserted a 16 GB class 4 card into mine. Twelve month warranty. There is little memory, so ANY task launched on this device is accompanied by lags and pauses. This also applies to navigation tasks, which, of course, upsets. Of course, you can use it, but when laying or recalculating a route, loading maps and some other situations, navigation software freezes are guaranteed. The 4000 mAh battery obviously does not give out the declared capacity. Without connecting to the cigarette lighter, it lives for about two hours. The screen looks good, but the touch responds reluctantly, often have to press two or three times. |
