Sony Inzone H3 (MDRG300W.CE7)

A mid-range gaming headset with a futuristic PlayStation 5 design, wired connectivity, thoughtful ergonomics and advanced 360 Spatial Sound virtualization. It is part of the Sony InZone line of gaming devices introduced in 2022, which, in addition to Sony consoles, support PC connection. The same 40mm dynamic drivers are responsible for the sound of the Sony Inzone H3, as in the older models of this series.

The difference is that the H3 is connected via a wired connection (audio cable with 3.5mm mini jack + USB A adapter), plus it lacks built-in lighting and does not support active noise cancellation. When designing their speakers, Sony engineers turned to their experience in creating everyday headphones, so the headset sounds quite balanced and clear, without a strong blockage towards low frequencies.

For voice chat, a unidirectional flip-up microphone on a fixed boom with support for advanced noise reduction and Discord certification will come in handy. If necessary, the microphone can be turned off by tilting it to a vertical position. The design turned out to be quite comfortable: a symmetrical shape fits a variety of head shapes and sizes, a wide headband provides a secure hold with minimal pressure at the points of contact, and fabric ear cushions allow the ears to breathe freely even in extreme heat. Large cups with ear cushions completely cover the ears and do a pretty good job of soundproofing. When paired with a PC, the owner of the headset can download the special INZONE Hub application, in which you can apply different sound settings, try different surround sound profiles, etc.
