Their Aluminium Type-C Multimedia Adapter is the brains behind the MacBook, turning it into a full-fledged desktop, allowing you to connect additional power, a second monitor, a router, a printer, and a bunch of other peripherals. And it doesn't take up much space in your backpack when you need to get mobile again.

The hub connects to a Mac and any other laptop with Power Delivery support using a USB-C port. In exchange for one busy port, it gives 4 additional connectors for connecting peripherals.
