The second generation of professional convertible laptops from Samsung based on the Intel Evo platform. Only upper-middle class laptops fall into this category, which must meet fairly strict requirements. In particular, they must work under the control of modern Intel hybrid processors, be friends with the Thunderbolt interface, support fast charging and be able to instantly wake up from sleep. All representatives of this line belong to the upper price segment, are included in the Galaxy Book 2023 line, and will be equally useful to a wide variety of categories of users: from businessmen and executives to artists, coders and graphic designers. Unlike the regular Galaxy Book2, the modification with the Pro attachment is equipped with a special hinge that rotates 360 degrees, turning the device into a massive tablet or stand. The 15.6-inch screen is built on the basis of an AMOLED matrix with a fixed resolution of 1080p, a base refresh rate of 60 Hz, a good margin of brightness and natural color reproduction, which is not quite usual for this area. Through the use of the Intel Evo platform, all laptops have impressive "muscle mass" and are capable of small feats in terms of performance. The motor is a Core i7 hybrid chip (Alder Lake family, 12th generation), equipped with 4 powerful P-cores and 8 energy-efficient E-cores. The idea of Intel engineers is to share the load: P-cores are activated under heavy load, E-cores are responsible for not too complicated casual tasks like browsing, watching videos, or working on Google Docs. This approach allows the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 15 to efficiently consume battery power and not run out of power until the end of the working day. The processor is accompanied by 8/16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with a clock frequency of 5200 MHz, a single or dual SSD drive with a total memory capacity of up to 4 TB. Graphics processing is provided by the video accelerator built into the processor from the Iris Xe series. The list of secondary equipment is fully in line with the spirit of the times and includes a comfortable island keyboard with Num-block and single-color backlighting, a built-in card reader (microSD), a modern network module with Wi-Fi 6E, an advanced 1080p webcam with built-in noise reduction technology, as well as a branded acoustics from the Austrian manufacturer AKG. In addition, the manufacturer took care of data safety by equipping all laptops from this line with a TPM cryptographic module and a fingerprint scanner.
