Design
The model of the middle price segment from the eminent Samsung brand has replaced the Galaxy A51, but with improved features and good value for money. The appearance of the smartphone will primarily appeal to the fair sex due to its delicate colours. The back panel here is matte plastic, and although it gives out belonging to the middle level, it is pleasant to the touch and does not slip like glass. It is a sin to hide such beauty in a case, but you should be careful with the frame — it is also made of plastic and is quickly covered with scratches. In addition, the case received protection against water IP67, which allows short-term immersion to a depth of up to 1 metre. Girls will also appreciate it: the gadget will help you take a picture for social networks near the pool or in the rain and after that it will not die the death of the brave.
By the way, about the camera. Its design is not completely copied, but it resembles the Galaxy S21, although the set of sensors is, of course, more modest. This is a 64 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view and two additional 5 MP sensors for blurring the background and macro photography. Photos are decent, especially in good lighting conditions, but details are lost in night mode. The 32-megapixel front camera is located in a small round cutout at the top of the display, it does not catch the eye and looks neat.
Super AMOLED display
Also Samsung Galaxy A52 4G boasts a good screen. This is a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED with FullHD + resolution (2400x1080 pixels), protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The picture is clearly visible even in bright sunlight, and the 90 Hz refresh rate adds smoothness. However, you can switch to the standard 60 Hz to conserve battery power. The issue of security is taken over by an under-screen fingerprint scanner, which works quite quickly, but in terms of response speed, of course, it cannot be compared with the Galaxy S21 sensor. You can also unlock your smartphone using face recognition.
Performance and battery life
Unlike the Galaxy A51, its successor is equipped with a Qualcomm chip instead of the proprietary Exynos. It uses the eight-core Snapdragon 720G, which turned out to be quite successful for mid-low-cost devices. The performance is enough to perform everyday tasks and not too demanding games, but the RAM is not enough — 4 GB. There is also a version with 8/256 GB, but it costs much more. A 4500 mAh battery will provide a decent one and a half to two days of battery life, support for 25 W fast charging is announced. But note that only a 15-watt charger is included in the kit.
There are also stereo speakers, an NFC chip, a 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones and a hybrid slot for two SIM cards or one SIM card and a microSD memory card.
