The single-person trekking tent of the Rockland brand represents mid-budget solutions on the market. It combines moderate weight (1.45 kg) with a reliable aluminum frame, which consists of a pair of arcs with a diameter of 7.9 mm (placed parallel to each other). The assembled model has a half-barrel shape and should withstand wind loads well, as it is low-profile (total height only 70 cm).
The Rockland Soloist 1 tent has a two-layer design, with the inner awning made of breathable mesh material and can be used separately (without an outer layer) in warm summer weather. The sleeping place measures 85 cm in width at the shoulders, which eliminates the feeling of cramping for most tourists. There is one entrance leading to the rest room, which is complemented by a small vestibule where you can leave your backpack and outerwear.
The outer awning is made of polyester fabric with reinforced corners and polyurethane impregnation, providing decent water resistance (up to 3000 mm water column). The bottom is also made of polyester, but it has improved protection against water (up to 5000 mm). Other equipment features of the model include internal pockets, a mosquito net, ventilation windows and wind flaps.
