The fundamental difference between the pedantic German RECARO Zero 1 Elite i-Size and most of its peers is the “chair-in-chair” design — a removable cradle for the smallest is offered in pair with the main unit, which is installed directly on top of the chair.

The cradle is sharpened for kids from birth to about six months of age. The child in it settles down on a soft insert and is fastened with three-point belts.
