A simple and easy to use uninterruptible power supply suitable for servicing home and office computer systems. The model provides free installation, without stationary fixation. The Powercom WOW-1000U has an effective output of 500W and a switchover time to battery of just 4ms. The battery pack is pre-installed in the case, but there is also a hot-swappable battery feature. The battery compartment is rubberized for sealing, so that when transporting the device, the battery does not fidget inside the case.
The body of the model has an RJ-45 input and output, a USB type B port is used for synchronization with a PC. Of the 4 Euro sockets, 3 can be used for backup power. It takes about 4 ms to switch from mains to UPS internal battery power. When operating at a load of less than 30 W, the device automatically turns off after 4 minutes., which is why the “uninterruptible power supply” is not suitable for backup power supply of “low-gluttonous” consumers in the manner of some CCTV cameras. Unfortunately, the GreenMode mode of the model cannot be disabled. And in fact, this is the only flaw in the UPS against the backdrop of an armada of positive qualities.
