A standalone virtual reality headset for efficient work, bright relaxation and fruitful creativity. It is a direct competitor to the Oculus Quest 2 line of devices. The manufacturer is positioning it as a product in the mid-price category in 2023. Unlike most VR devices that use the computing power of gaming PCs, consoles or smartphones, this model is a completely independent gadget that includes everything you need: Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 SoC, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB permanent memory, Wi-Fi and cooling system.
The user has the opportunity to expand the capabilities of the Pico 4 256 Gb virtual reality headset with additional content by connecting it to a PC using the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) interface or the included cable. The headset is equipped with two 2.56" screens (2160x2160 for each eye) with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. The interpupillary distance is adjusted using an electric drive, which is controlled by software.
The ergonomic design of the helmet headset is well balanced, it is almost not felt on the head. When playing games installed on the built-in system, autonomy is 2.0-2.5 hours; in streaming mode from a personal computer, the battery charge will last for 1.5-2.0 hours. Thanks to the proprietary SLAM system, infrared optical positioning system and updated optical sensors, Accurate tracking for headset and controllers, and every VR movement will be quick and decisive.
