The IPS-matrix with WLED backlight (devoid of flickering) has a pseudo-8-bit channel colour, which is actually formed according to the 6-bit + FRC scheme. However, the monitor shows acceptable colour reproduction, a good maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, standard static contrast ratio and excellent viewing angles of 178 degrees. Due to the good response time of the matrix, this monitor has no problems with blurring when displaying dynamic content. Connection is possible via any of the three available interface ports: VGA, DVI-D and HDMI. There are two built-in speakers (2x2 W) providing entry-level sound design.

Also, a black-and-white gradient image is displayed with very noticeable noise. We tried all the connection inputs (dsub, hdmi, dvi), different network cables / sockets (even in different houses), different computers with Windows / Linux and Geforce / Radeon video cards - the result is the same everywhere. The monitor has been handed over to an authorized Philips service center/representative. The result of the appeal is a response from the manufacturer that the monitor is working. So, I do not recommend buying monitors from Philips. Minimal and very uniform highlights on a black background. Movies with a lot of dark scenes look good.
There is an option for finer color adjustments. Flimsy stand - if the table surface is at least minimally unstable, then the monitor will let you know about it with noticeable wiggles.
