A handy and versatile battery powered LED headlamp with three different modes. The first mode is designed to work with nearby objects — a wide uniform beam with an intensity of 30 lm illuminates objects at a distance of up to 15 m for 12 hours. The second mode is optimized for movement (walking, running, leisurely cycling). In this case, a mixed beam with a focused component and an intensity of 40 lm creates an illuminated space at a distance of up to 30 m (6 h).
The third mode is adapted for lighting distant objects. It is characterized by good focus of the beam with an intensity of 50 lm, illuminating objects at a distance of up to 55 m (3 h). I bought this flashlight for use at work. The equipment I service is usually located in the basement or underground floors. If there is light there, it is almost always not enough for work. This advanced browband is designed specifically for work, and now I always have it with me. A wonderful thing, albeit not cheap. The creators of this headlamp approached its design with commendable care. It has two separate LEDs. One for distance light, the second works at short distances. Such a separation was needed so that both modes were as comfortable as possible. And this cannot be achieved by using one LED and a reflector for both purposes. The high beam LED has a reflector optimized for a narrow and extremely bright beam. The low beam LED illuminates the area with a uniform and fairly wide cone, which is formed by a second reflector appropriate for this task. There is also a combined mode, when both LEDs light up. It is good for any tasks, but quickly eats up the battery. The choice of modes is done by a rotary selector. It is equally convenient to twist it with bare hands or with gloves. The case is rubberized, comfortable and well protected from water ingress (water resistance is declared). Weight with batteries is about 160 grams, which is not much for a headband. There is a battery indicator. The body fits perfectly on the head strap and can be tilted vertically from the direction of view by plus or minus 45 degrees. There is also a mount for a helmet without a head strap. Explosion-proof, can be used in rooms of the first class of danger. There is a three year warranty. Expensive. |
