Low cost welding machine, mainly designed for domestic use. The modest technical data regarding the power and operating time of the Paton VDI-160E is compensated by the presence of modern intelligent control functions: hot start, forcing the arc (Arc Force) and anti-Stick. This makes it an excellent choice for beginners. But at the same time, for some reason, the model is devoid of a case or a carrying handle, respectively, it is positioned rather as an addition to the set of a home master with a permanent installation site. The largest electrode diameter that can be installed in the welding machine is 4 mm. We also pay attention to the well-thought-out ventilation system and the presence of a through grille on the front panel.

The device is worth the money. Amperage during operation gives out according to the manufacturer. Even rusty metal cooks perfectly. Welding cables are natural copper, 3 meters long and soft. It is not particularly picky with electrodes even to 4 millimeters. The network does not sit down.
