Really smart automatic blood pressure monitor

By age, I still found old mercury devices for measuring blood pressure. True, I myself was a child then, but still I remember them well. Now, mechanical blood pressure monitors, which thirty years ago seemed to be the pinnacle of these very technologies, are already in the dustbin of technological progress. I did not really understand how to choose such an electronic device correctly, so I asked the doctor about it. Thanks to her, despite being busy, she briefly told what was what and advised this model, because she herself worked with her. It turned out that Nissei is a trademark of the large Japanese company Nihon Seimitsu Sokki, which has been producing electronic blood pressure monitors since 1978 and is one of the largest and most technologically advanced manufacturers.

I liked the tonometer right away. The screen and it is not just big, it occupies almost the entire front of the case. Above it are convenient touch buttons, with which all manipulations are performed. It measures the pulse and pressure in a fully automatic mode, and does it very quickly and, judging by the comparison with the doctor's tonometer, accurately. However, the accuracy is expected, because this tonometer has passed clinical trials and is certified by the European Hypertension Society. But the most interesting feature of this device is its adaptability. It can adapt to the characteristics of a particular person and optimize its work. For example, if the last three measurements showed high systolic pressure, then it increases the primary pumping rate and reaches the expected high value faster. Very interesting and promising, in my opinion, technology.

High price. However, devices that have been clinically tested and certified are not cheap.
