Equipped with a standard six-phase power supply subsystem with MOSFET assemblies cooling radiators. It has interface ports DVI-D and HDMI 1.4, allowing you to use the graphics core built into the processor. It received two PCI-E x16 form factor connectors with the ability to install two performant discrete video cards to create multiGPU configurations using AMD 2-Way CrossFireX technology.
MSI B450 GAMING PLUS motherboard supports 4 DDR4-2933/2666/2400/2133 RAM modules with an impressive total capacity of up to 64GB. To build a performant disk subsystem, there is a high-speed M.2 port (up to 32 Gbps) and 6 standard SATA3 ports (up to 6 Gbps) with the ability to organize RAID arrays of level 0/1/10. The integrated Realtek RTL8111H gigabit controller provides fast network communications, and the Realtek ALC892 7.1-channel audio codec allows you to output high-quality sound. Interaction with peripherals and external drives is carried out through 12 USB ports, including 2x USB 3.1 Gen2 (up to 10 Gbps) and 6x USB 3.1 Gen1 (up to 5 Gbps).

You're having a blast. Everything works out of the box, the BIOS is fresh. The memory is being chased, the processors are being chased. If something goes wrong, it dumps itself into the drain. Works like a clock. Doesn't get hot, cooler and pumps work great. Fits into small cases with adequate cable management. I assembled a black and red set with a Ryzen 7 1700 processor, Kingston Predator 3200 RAM (16 gb), 2 hard drives. 500 GB SSD and 2 TB hard drive and a 3 GB red 1060 video card with built-in overclock from msi. Everything flies, the ports on the mother are in perfect order. The connectors are good, the metal mount on the psi slot for the video card, I don’t know how useful it is, the card still sags Thin layer of printed circuit board. They could have made it thicker. After the release of the AMD B450 chipset in 2018, the number of universal motherboards based on the AM4 socket has grown like mushrooms after the rain. In the face of fierce competition, manufacturers had to get out and release game boards with price tags slightly above $100. One of these instances is the MSI B450 GAMING PLUS.
4 DDR4 slots, support for two video cards
Let's make a reservation right away that the name Gaming Plus is very arbitrary here, since MSI equipped the board with a set of connections quite standard for the B450 chip (4 DDR4 slots, a pair of M.2, support for two video cards, HDMI) and standard functionality such as backlight with synchronization or reinforced PCI slots -E to safely connect cards of any size. The overclocking capabilities of the MSI B450 GAMING PLUS are within reason (i.e., do not drive anything at the level of Ryzen 7 2700X and higher), and the "gaming" nature of the board manifests itself only in a stylish black and red colour scheme and the ability to overclock RAM up to 3466 MHz.

Does this mean that we have a so-so motherboard? By no means! Solutions based on the B450 chip look extremely interesting, as they provide everything the average user needs and do not require much in return. And for fans of extreme overclocking, there are plenty of motherboards based on top-end X370 and X470 chips. As for this particular board, it provides a couple of bonuses in terms of ease of use: MSI has a damn convenient and understandable BIOS with the most simplified overclocking process. Plus, in case something happens, there is a separate button on the board to reset the BIOS.
