The model can work with two, three and four threads, and also performs 7 sewing operations. These include 2-needle 4-thread overlock, 1-needle 3-thread overlock and 3-thread roller stitch. In general, an overlocker can cope with any type of fabric - both thin chiffon, elastic knitwear, and complex denim materials.

The Minerva M740DS is equipped with a standard overlock foot, an electronic control pedal, a differential conveyor for feeding fabric and a powerful motor (105 W), which provides sewing speeds of up to 1300 stitches per minute. Also worth noting is the automatic threading of the lower looper and adjustment of the stitch length (from 1 to 4 mm) and seam width (from 3 to 7 mm). For the convenience of the user, the overlocker has a built-in box for storing accessories, a compartment for collecting scraps, a sleeve platform for processing narrow and circular parts of the product (sleeves, legs, cuffs) and illumination of the sewing area.
