An electromechanical sewing machine from the middle price segment is a fairly simple model with a basic set of functions, so it is more suitable for mastering the world of sewing or performing simple tasks at home. The advantage is that it is designed to work with any type of fabric - both light and denser. But at the same time, it offers only 15 sewing operations, namely a straight stitch, a secret stitch, a knitted stitch, an overlock stitch, and several types of zigzags.

Also, the machine is equipped with a vertical swinging shuttle and forms a loop in semi-automatic mode. Janome 311 PG is controlled by a good old foot pedal and allows you to select the main parameters depending on the material and the desired result. These are the stitch length (maximum 4 mm), stitch width (up to 5 mm), presser foot lift and thread tension. In addition, a reverse function is available, which is usually used to secure seams. Four types of feet are included in the package: universal, for buttonhole, for sewing in a zipper and for a hidden line. When working with narrow and small items of clothing, a sleeve platform is useful. By the way, the removable part also acts as a pencil case for sewing accessories.
