Inexpensive planer with decent power

Under the Hyundai brand, a relatively simple household-class tool is produced. It has a good reputation among private craftsmen due to its favorable price-performance ratio. For example, the Hyundai P 910-82 planer, despite its low cost, is equipped with a decent 900-watt engine (although this is not far from a record, there are much more powerful electric planers). The power reserve of the motor allows the tool to remove 3 mm of wood in one pass and not overheat when processing dense and hard woods. However the payback for a powerful engine was the relatively large weight of the device (3.8 kg), which made it not so easy to work with it.

Simple design with interesting features

Therefore, even when working in a cramped workshop, you don’t have to bother too much with which side of the workpiece to get up so that the chips fly in the right direction. There are three V-shaped grooves on the sole. They have different depths and therefore allow you to make bevels of different sizes. Not only "native" blades are suitable for this planer, but also almost any other 82 mm knives (this will simplify the choice of consumables).

With it, you can quickly plan boards and beams, level the floor, make selections and chamfer. Its performance will help you complete some carpentry and joinery jobs faster. And the low price makes this tool the best choice for craftsmen who do not like to overpay for a "company" and "brand".
