The Hotpoint-Ariston narrow dishwasher, which can hold up to 10 place settings, debuted in 2019. It is built into a 45 cm wide niche. The interior space is divided into three zones: in addition to two standard baskets, there is an independent cutlery shelf in the upper part. The Hotpoint-Ariston HSIO 3O23 WFE dishwasher supports 9 washing programs, including automatic, night, delicate, hygienic and fast cycle.
The 3D Zone Wash system allows you not only to use the half load mode, but also to choose a basket for it yourself. The model is equipped with an inverter motor that will take care of quiet operation (less than 43 dB) and low water consumption (from 9 liters per cycle). But the power consumption of the device corresponds to class A, which has already become the minimum required standard. The dishwasher can be connected to a hot water system with a temperature limit of up to 60 °C. In this case, the machine will spend less energy on heating cold water. The device controls the water pressure of the nozzles using an inverter motor with electronic power control, which results in an annual energy consumption of only 212 kWh (class A ++). At the same time, the motor runs noticeably quieter than the engines of similar devices, accompanying work at maximum loads with a noise of less than 43 dB. The complete set of the appliance consists of a lower and upper (with adjustment) baskets, complemented by a retractable folding shelf for cutlery, capable of reducing the surface by 2/3. The unit consumes about 9 liters of water per cycle, and the annual consumption of a valuable resource is 2520 liters based on an average use of the machine 280 times.
Hygiene programme
A wide choice of basic programs, numbering 9 cycles, allows you to accurately target the selected process to achieve the optimal result. From a 10-minute pre-soak, to a 30-minute express wash, to a 100-minute delicate glassware cleaning programme, to a hygienic intensive wash programme with an antibacterial rinse (70 °C), as well as an economical 4-hour ECO cycle. In addition, the machine received a silent night wash programme, 2 automatic cycles and a service programme for self-cleaning of internal structural elements from limescale.

The LED indicators on the control panel display show all relevant information about the current state of the machine. Here you can find out about the use of a tablet, the absence of salt and rinse aid, the number of the selected programme, the start delay time (up to 24 hours) and the activation of the Zone Wash 3D function, which connects additional sprayers to the washing operation, supplying water to the local zone. And the buttons for reducing the time of the Turbo programs, the options for improved drying "Extra-dry" and "Delay start" with their own indicators show the status of these options. A convenient function of the dishwasher is the LED projection of the beam on the floor, which makes it possible to assess the state of operation of the machine from afar without indications from the control panel.
The machine is quite quiet due to the inverter motor; there are chips such as: regulation of the middle basket in height (it’s convenient when you put something dimensional in the lower basket), and a 3D sink for the lower compartment. The washing quality is not bad, we use expensive top-end tablets.
The model is normal, but comparing with its own (another eminent brand), there are several nuances:
- it washes well, but if it is not clogged with dishes "with a slide" (tried on different programs)
- when there are a lot of dishes, the quality of washing the upper compartment for spoons / forks suffers, some of them remain unwashed.
- the "lack of salt" icon appears, although it is full of it, and it was filled up according to the instructions.
