Network camera manufacturer Hikvision has expanded the ColorVu line in 2020. One of its chips is the possibility of colour filming even at night, and the backlight provided here ensures the visibility of objects at a distance of up to 30 metres. The model received a directional metal case, which is well prepared for difficult operating conditions (protection class IP67 and operation in frosts down to -30 °C).

This means that the Hikvision DS-2CD2047G1-L 2.8 mm video surveillance camera is suitable for outdoor installation and use in public places and/or in the adjacent territory to houses, offices, industrial facilities. For informative and detailed video recording, a 4 megapixel matrix and a wide-angle lens with a fixed focal length of 2.8 mm are responsible. Thanks to them, the model is able to record videos with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a frequency of 25 frames per second. Other features include motion detection and the ability to configure an area of interest, power over a network cable (POE), various video archive storage options (network storage or a memory card installed in the appropriate slot).
