USB powered low power stereo desktop speaker system with traditional outdoor design and analog input. Designed for use in tandem with personal computers, laptops, monoblocks and nettops. They are positioned as a product of the basic price category, aimed at economical users who do not want to spend significant amounts on the purchase of computer speakers. Unlike most similar low-cost models, the speaker cabinets of the Havit HV-SK518 speaker system are made of MDF, the weight and density of which effectively suppress the occurrence of parasitic resonances.

The built-in amplifier provides a moderately loud sound. To connect to a source device, an analog input is provided with a 3-pin miniJack 3.5mm connector on a non-detachable cable. For regular operation of the system, it is necessary to supply power with a voltage of 5V through a separate USB cable, which can be connected to the USB port of a desktop computer, laptop, game console, powerbank battery or network charger from any current smartphone. According to the manufacturer, broadband dynamic radiators provide correct reproduction of the frequency range from 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz and this sound is enough for listening to pop music, watching videos and acoustic design of computer games.
