The international concern Globe Tools Group is a well-known manufacturer of garden equipment of the Greenworks brand, which is bought with pleasure all over the world. The Greenworks G24HT57 highly mobile cordless hedge trimmer has an unusually bright acid green body colour that makes the tool stand out and never get lost when left in the grass. This inexpensive model is equipped with a commutator motor powered by a 24V battery. The power sources for the brush cutter are universal G24B batteries with a capacity of 2 or 4 Ah, suitable for many types of Greenworks garden equipment. At the same time, the device can operate from a full charge of a 4 Ah battery for up to 80 minutes and half the time with a low-capacity battery. Keep in mind that the nominal weight of the hedge trimmer of 3.12 kg when installing the battery will be more: G24B2 — by 0.5 kg, G24B4 — by 0.9 kg. Unfortunately, batteries are not supplied with the base model.

With adjustable handle

The tool motor is protected against overloads and automatically shuts off when it encounters excessive shearing resistance. The electric hedge trimmer is equipped with a 570 mm bar on which knives are mounted with a pitch of 18 mm. The idle speed of the knives is 1400 rpm, and the maximum working speed is 2800 cuts/min. A transparent protective shield covers the user's hands from possible injuries. The device is controlled by a two-hand grip with simultaneous pressing of 2 trigger buttons. The unequivocal advantages of the model include the possibility of adjusting the handle relative to the plane of the knife by 180 °. An additional plus is the button to block the start of the rear trigger. As positive points, also note a low vibration level of 2.5 m/s2 and an acceptable noise level.
