A set of DDR4 RAM, consisting of a pair of high-speed 8 GB RAM modules each. This RAM was released in the second generation of the Ripjaws series, in which G.Skill engineers worked on the bugs, getting rid of most of the shortcomings of the first generation. The operating frequency of the set is 5066 MHz, and the throughput of the set reaches 40,000 MB / s, which is approximately equal to the speed indicators of the new generation DDR5 memory modules, which went on active sale only in 2022.

At the same time, Ripjaws memory does not require the user to fork out for rather expensive next-generation components - a high-quality, but not too expensive motherboard with an Intel Z690 / AMD X570 chipset will be enough for it to work. Features like these make it an equally good choice for advanced gaming or production builds that require some performance wonders. To simplify tuning and overclocking characteristics, Intel XMP technology is supported with preset frequency, timing and voltage settings. Given the rather high standard voltage of 1.6 V, both modules were equipped with large, thick, one-color heatsinks that completely cover the printed circuit board and memory modules. The height of both modules is 42 mm, which must be taken into account if a high tower cooler or a water cooling system is already installed in the system.
