The budget sewing machine of the Austrian brand First is an entry-level model for simple tasks. Of course, this is not a professional model, it is intended for home use and will be a good helper for repairing and even sewing simple things like pillowcases, baby diapers, etc. In addition, it copes with light fabrics without problems, but dense materials are unlikely master. So, the machine offers 12 sewing programs: these are 4 straight stitches, 4 zigzags, 2 buttonhole stitches, a spiral stitch and a blind stitch.

It is possible to adjust the stitch length, thread tension and, if necessary, use the reverse or reverse stroke function, which will help secure the seam. First FA-5700-2 allows you to work at one of two available speed modes, and control is done using either a hand switch or a foot pedal. Like the cost of the device, its equipment is quite modest: you get only one universal foot, two bobbins, one needle and two spools. But for more convenient work, a threading device, a sleeve platform, a compartment for accessories, a carrying handle and a ruler are added right on the case.
