Compact USB-powered desktop stereo computer speakers with traditional MDF cabinet design, analog input, and two side-panel headphone/microphone jacks (analogue headset also supported). Positioned as a product of the basic price category, aimed at users who need a compact stereo speaker system to output sound from a personal computer, monoblock, nettop or laptop. Thanks to the built-in amplifier, the Defender SPK-270 speaker system provides moderately loud sound.

Equipped with a convenient volume control, which is located on the side panel of one of the speakers. An analog input with a 3-pin miniJack 3.5mm connector on a 0.6 m cable is provided for connecting to a source device. It should be added that for normal operation, a 5V power supply must be connected via a separate USB cable. According to the manufacturer, broadband dynamic radiators provide correct reproduction of the frequency range from 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz and this sound is enough for listening to pop music, watching videos and acoustic design of computer games.
