shit from shit doesn't work W+shift+space nothing terrible keyboard broken legs Den Den: use Defender Element HB-520 less than month |
It is very cheap, the keys are pressed when typing quickly, unlike other "claudia users", it is great for games, and very light, there are some holes, as I understand it, they are needed in case of flooding. When typing fast, the keys rattle (a little annoying), if you raise the clave up or down, the keys will stagger, there are no rubber feet, it even slides on wood. I was looking for a keyboard specifically with a PS / 2 connector, because USB ports do not need to be occupied if the motherboard has special connectors for the keyboard and mouse.
I don’t play games at all, so I don’t need all sorts of “whistles and fakes” there. I bought this "miracle", and... the design of the keys on this keyboard is a quiet horror. A couple of mysteries: * Why is the letter "Ё" smaller than the other letters? (advertising photos do not match) * Why is the Cyrillic font so clumsy? In general, I will look for something more worthwhile on American sites, so that without the blasphemous Cyrillic alphabet at all - I still print blindly. P.S. I had a simple DIN keyboard in the 90s - the quality is not even close to modern Chinese crafts from Uncle Liao. No Chinese consumer goods kachinski: use Defender Element HB-520 less than month |
working bee
The Defender Element HB-520 is a super-cheap, compact "what-is-it-is-it" keyboard that doesn't impress with its design or typing feel. It just works without taking up much desk space or inconveniencing the printing process.
The keyboard is membrane, with full key travel. The gaps between them and the body are small — this is a plus for both appearance and dirt resistance. The paint on them holds up more than well for the price. The keys feel are at a high level for a “clean membrane”, it is pleasant to work with them.
Soft and comfortable keys
People who type a lot will especially appreciate the soft touch and comfortable shape of the keys — the finger fits perfectly into their slightly rough concave surface. A small three-button block for managing the computer's power has been moved out of the additional keys to the right corner.
Questions on the part of the design arise primarily to the legs for adjusting the height of the keyboard. Outwardly, they are flimsy and thin, and the retainer is like that gopher from the movie "DMB" — it seems to exist, but it is not visible. While the keyboard is new, it is quite firmly on its feet, but there are serious doubts that it will be the same after a year or two of operation.
