Full-size island-style keyboard with high-quality membrane switches, additional multimedia keys, blue LED backlighting and USB cable connection. Equipped with low-profile, short-travel keys with a soft touch finish. Membrane switches are resistant to various contaminants and dripping moisture. They do not require significant effort to actuate, provide good tactile feedback, and are exceptionally comfortable for typing large amounts of text.

Unlike low-cost office membrane models, the Canyon CNS-HKB6 keyboard effectively prevents fictitious double-clicks, which has the most positive effect on the quality of work and the accuracy of managing applications using standard or custom keyboard shortcuts. Compatible with any personal computers, monoblocks, workstations and laptops running operating systems of the Windows family. Additional keys make it possible to quickly use popular functions (Explorer, browser, mail, bookmarks, calculator, etc.) and control the playback of multimedia files. A comfortable wrist rest reduces fatigue, and switchable backlighting allows you to work in low-light conditions.

She's worth every penny

Who is interested in how to deal with hard keys that sometimes either do not press or get stuck pressed. I took the keyboard apart to see what the hell was in there. Maybe it’s collective farm, but I’m writing this text from this keyboard and after lubrication it’s just wonderful.

Take the lubricant. I use silicone, it is the softest of its kind. Disassemble the keyboard. You can take a stationery knife or even a construction knife. You need to snap off the holders on the key so that it can be removed. Now on the keys, where the white part is (where it actually rubs against the body), you need to lubricate this place. We take a cotton swab, dip it in lubricant and leisurely walk around. We lubricate only where it touches the core of the clave itself. And now on the keyboard itself, where the white part also touches. With all this we removed friction, which was causing sticking. Ideally, you should do this for all keys. Yes, this will take time, but such maintenance is worth the expense - you won’t even recognize it after this... By the way, the lubricant will either wear out or dry out over time. And you will have to do this procedure again. Lubricants usually last for years, 3 years is definitely enough in one full pass.
— Matte finish, looks good;
— The overall appearance is beautiful;
— When the keys have a soft stroke, it is pleasant to work with the keyboard;
— Bonus keys in the form of “This computer” and “Calculator” - the second one helps when I’m sitting in Illustrator, I don’t have to call it through Win+R.
— Out of the box, poor key travel;
- The lack of elastic on the hind legs can be annoying. Both folded and raised. I don’t think you’ll feel it on a rug, but on a smooth surface, like mine now, it fidgets quite well (if you try to move it, of course);
— There is no backlight setting, which in some cases sucks;
— There is good play on almost all keys, because... they are held only in the center, where the contactor is. This is especially true for the space bar and long keys such as Shift and Enter. BUT, even at the edge of the space, it is pressed completely, it does not warp;
— Perhaps this is a nuance of the assembly line, but the quality of soldering is terrible. After disassembly, the backlight wires got twisted and the transistor experienced the pain of a short circuit. I had to tinker with this. Here the problem of the short circuit is not in the soldering, but in the circuit design of the LED strip;

I do not recommend this keyboard.

This is the worst keyboard I have ever used for 1.5 years. I recommend looking for other options, but if there is no other choice, all that remains is to suffer and save up for normal mechanics.
Design, good lighting, stable.
There are a bunch of them here, the worst thing is buttons that, when pressed, get stuck in their own nest. They also crunch disgustingly, and creak, sometimes you can’t press the button at all, it just, well, doesn’t squeeze through. The space bar only works when you pound it so hard. Alt stopped responding after 7 months.
