Canon 100-400mm f/5.6-8.0 RF IS USM

A telephoto zoom lens for shooting sporting events, shy animals and hunting at long distances. It's no joke, the model covers a telephoto range of distances of 100-400 mm. But it does not shine with aperture ratio: at the short end, the maximum aperture is f / 5.6, at the telephoto zoom position — f / 8.0. The built-in optical stabilizer helps to win up to 5.5 stops of exposure and shutter speed when shooting handheld.

Side-by-side with the stub is a quiet and tenacious Nano USM autofocus drive. At a focal length of 100 mm, the lens focuses from a distance of 88 cm. Structurally, the optical scheme of the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8.0 IS USM was assembled from 12 elements in 9 groups, of which one lens is made of UD glass and one is aspherical optical element PMo. At the same time, the aperture of the telephoto is 9-blade. As for the class of long-range optics, the lens turned out to be small and relatively light. The dimensions of its case are 80 mm in diameter and 165 mm in length, and the weight is about 635 g. Compatibility with a telephoto lens is 67 mm filters.
