Full size ATX rated gaming motherboard for 14nm 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors. The manufacturer is positioning itself as an affordable model of one of the flagship Asus PRIME lines. Designed for use as part of high-performance gaming systems, it has a pronounced overclocking functionality. Equipped with LGA1151 processor socket, which can accept Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors based on Skylake and Kaby Lake microarchitecture.
To create a capacious and performant dual-channel memory subsystem, the Asus PRIME Z270-P motherboard is equipped with 4 slots for DDR4 RAM modules. Operating modes are supported up to DDR4-3866 with a maximum volume of 64 GB. The presence of two full-size slots for installing video cards (PCI-E 16x + PCI-E 4x) allows you to use AMD CrossFireX technology and create extremely high-performance graphics configurations to maintain a comfortable frame rate in current AAA-class gaming projects.
Dual M.2 Socket 3 ports support ultra-fast Intel Optan Memory-enabled SSDs, while 4 traditional SATA 3 ports support both SSDs and higher-capacity, affordable HDDs. There is a high-quality sound path with spectacular backlighting, the board is equipped with a built-in Gigabit Ethernet network interface and 14 USB ports, 8 of which support the high-speed USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard.
I didn’t change Windu from the previous platform, I launched it and the necessary drivers from the Internet pulled themselves up.
There is some kind of backlight, it seems that even somehow it can be configured there, I was not interested.
Added on the motherboard. slots for video cards so that you can mine, due to this it is so long, you could of course make it in micro-atx format without it, but since this is a model of 2017, the bias in mining is justified for it.
Well, in general, for $ 75 this is quite a worthy copy, at least I have not yet found something in it that I would not have enough.
