Relatively compact mid-range graphics card based on the progressive Nvidia Ampere graphics microarchitecture. At the same time, the model is dressed in a case 200 mm long and two slots thick, in which there was a place for a fairly efficient cooling system for two fans. But let's start with the "heart" of the Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Dual V2 LHR video card, which is the Nvidia GA106 GPU.
It is immediately supported by 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 192-bit data transfer bus. The card is made according to the 8nm process technology and operates in the frequency range up to 1807 MHz. There are also improved RT and tensor cores that provide hardware support for Real-Time Ray Tracing technology and proprietary DLSS smart scaling. The model is able to maintain a comfortable frame rate at high or even maximum graphics settings in all popular computer games released until 2022. Dual-slot heatpipe cooling system with dust-proof Axial-tech fans with long blades ensures efficient heat dissipation from the card. A strong aluminium plate on the back of the model prevents the PCB from bending. The device has a built-in lighting system and fits easily into small Mini Tower cases.

I bought to replace a STRIX GTX1050TI 4G in a five-year-old computer with z390 and 8700k. Since everything is assembled in a retro case manufactured in 2001, which does not know what normal ventilation is, I had to turn the air direction 180 degrees and put a 120 fan on the front panel so that the flow of cold air was directly under the video card. In games (The Witcher 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk) at QHD resolution on medium - maximum settings with DLSS without rays, it produces a comfortable 45-65 FPS. If you don't touch the voltage, it keeps overclocking up to 2100/16000, which is of no practical importance because it adds only 2-3 FPS to the interval of 50-60 FPS. The card is assembled high-quality, compact and quite quiet, at 100% load, the temperature is kept at 65-70 degrees at about 70% fan speed. Unlike some direct competitors, there is an aluminum backplate, and the radiator is soldered to the heat pipes. The memory chips are kosher Samsung, although this is not important for this model.
