A solid, stylish and modern portable player of near-top level with a large screen, a wide range of connections and serious sound development. It is a slightly simplified and more affordable version of the flagship AK120 player. Created for true connoisseurs of high-quality music with maximum detail, who are accustomed to listening to music in lossless format and do not want to make any compromises in terms of sound quality.

It is the company's first player based on the AK4492ECB DAC. This DAC is built on the basis of the flagship AK4497EQ chips and, according to the manufacturer, produces a comparable sound level (approx: up to 32 bit/384 kHz), while it consumes significantly less power, which makes it the optimal choice for portable players. The choice of materials, the shape of the case and the design of the volume wheel pay tribute to the very same AK120 player that has become a symbol of Astell&Kern's success.

Case material – stainless steel, weight – 303 grams. The player feels good in the hand and easily fits into a bag pocket, but compared to miniature 30-gram sports players, it still looks a little bulky. On the front panel of the player there is a 4.1-inch diagonal touch display (720 x 1280), and at the lower end there is a USB C port and a microSD slot in which you can install a memory card with a capacity of up to 512 GB. On top of the SA700 there is a power button, as well as balanced (2.5 mm) and unbalanced (3.5 mm) headphone jacks. There are three physical control buttons on the left side of the player. Third-party applications and music streaming can be installed into the firmware using the Open APP service. The 3150 mAh battery provides up to 8.5 hours of battery life.
