Compact Wi-Fi router Alcatel MW45V comes to the rescue in deploying wireless access to the global network in any areas with cellular coverage. It distributes mobile Internet to client devices at a frequency of 2.4 GHz using the Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n protocol.

Compactness — above all!

The most important feature of the model is its compact dimensions (88x60x13 mm) and light weight (78 g). The mobile router easily fits into the pocket of outerwear and takes up a minimum of space among the daily burdens of a resident of the metropolis. On the shelves of stores, the access point is presented in white and black colours of the case made of matte plastic. On its top panel there are indicators of the mobile network, Wi-Fi distribution, new messages and battery charge. However, it is impossible to estimate the exact indicators of the parameters from them.

Speed indicators

Alcatel MW45V supports up to 10 Wi-Fi clients simultaneously. In operation, the mobile router relies on 2x2 MIMO technology, due to which the maximum data reception rate is 150 Mbps in LTE networks and 42 Mbps in 3G networks. When connected to a computer, the device replaces a USB modem, and no additional drivers need to be downloaded to recognize it. The router is managed either through a tiled web interface or the Alcatel Link mobile programme.

Mains operation

The built-in battery of the portable router holds about 7 hours. It is charged via a microUSB connector. It is also possible to operate the device without a battery when connected to the power supply using the appropriate block. You can power the access point from the USB port of a laptop or an ordinary smartphone charger.
