Professional wired on-ear headphones with open acoustic design and detachable cable. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the upper price category, intended for use in professional / amateur recording studios. With large and extremely lightweight ear cushions and a self-adjusting headband, they provide a comfortable experience for long hours in the studio. Can be used in audio recording, conditioning/editing and mixing.

Equipped with special dynamic transducers with a two-layer Varimotion diaphragm, which provides a flat frequency response and highly detailed sound with minimal harmonic and timbre distortion. Also, the AKG K712 Pro headphones will certainly interest lovers of high-quality neutral ("uncolored") sound, using Hi-End devices or professional sound cards with high-quality output amplifiers as a source. The practical design of this model is well adapted to active use. The kit includes two three-metre interchangeable cables (straight and twisted, with professional XLR mini connectors for connecting to headphones) and an adapter for Jack 6.3mm.

High Quality Hi-Fi Headphones with Band Headband

The AKG K712 Pro is a premium headphone from AKG's renowned 700th series and includes signature series features such as an adjustable band headband, comfortable velor memory foam ear pads, dual-layer Varimotion membranes and premium copper coils. This model goes beyond the middle class and is aimed at the professional Hi-End segment, it comes with two replaceable cables, as well as an emphasis on a wide frequency range (note: 10 - 39800 Hz) and the inscription “made in Austria” on the box and bowls.

The AKG K712 Pro is a rare open-back headphone designed for professional use in music recording, audio mixing and mastering. They provide a wide stereo panorama and precise positioning of instruments in the sound space. The spectral balance of the headphones is perfectly balanced, the bass is clear but not dominant, the mids sound lively and energetic, and the highs are clean and clear. Thanks to the uniform processing of the frequency range, music is reproduced in headphones with high quality. The headphones also easily cope with various sound sources, including players and smartphones with high-quality DACs.

Unique design from AKG

The appearance of the AKG K712 Pro is traditional for AKG and includes massive round ear cups and a ribbon headband. The headband and cup rings are highlighted in copper, which contrasts elegantly with the black body. The headband, made of a metal frame and a leather headband with rivets, is easily adjustable to fit the shape of your head. Despite their bulkiness, the headphones sit comfortably on the head and do not cause discomfort even after prolonged use, unlike some closed models.
