Ajax MotionCam

In the new generation of Ajax motion detectors, there was a noticeable breakthrough — one of the sensors that detect the movement of objects received a simple camera for additional armament. The name of this security device is Ajax MotionCam.

Visual Evidence

When motion is detected in the frame, the camera "clicks" the picture at a resolution of 320x240 pixels. In the era of the rapid development of 4K technologies, such a low resolution causes an ironic smile, but the goals here are completely different. The main task of a motion detector is to determine that an object has been tampered with. And the photo of what is happening at this moment fully confirms it.

Wings radio protocol

To transmit data from the sensor, the new Wings radio protocol is used, according to which the alarm signal arrives in just 150 ms from the moment the motion detector is triggered. It was decided to go this way in order not to be dependent on Wi-Fi infrastructure and keep the device long-term battery life (at the level of existing representatives of the Ajax security sensors, i.e. for several years without replacing batteries).

Home perimeter control

The wireless sensor is mounted on the wall opposite doors, windows and other places where intruders are likely to enter. He does not react to four-legged pets (unless a huge dog has settled in your house), but he unmistakably identifies a person both in the winter cold and in the hot summer heat. With such a guard guarding the home perimeter, no one will be able to slip unnoticed.
