Large capacity

A representative of the premium class of AEG washing machines received a drum for 10 kg of laundry. This capacity is enough for almost any purpose: washing the clothes of all family members, several blankets, large soft toys, down jackets. The impressive capacity is reflected in the dimensions: the depth of the case even exceeds the width (63 and 60 cm, respectively).

Innovative approach

The AEG L 8WBC61 has 11 washing modes. The effectiveness of each is ensured by the manufacturer's proprietary technologies: ÖKOMix, DualSense and ProSense systems. The first is responsible for pre-mixing the detergent with water before washing, the second sets the desired drum speed and water temperature in accordance with the type of fabric, and the third adapts the cycle time to the amount of laundry, compensating, for example, for the absence of a separate quick programme.

The wool mode is certified by Woolmark Blue, which confirms the gentle care of woolen fabrics and things that are recommended for delicate handling and hand washing.

Drying and washing with steam

The AEG L 8WBC61 has a special steam programme designed to soften fabrics and eliminate odours. It is used for both dry and freshly washed clothes in a different mode.

In addition to the traditional class A spin (up to 1600 rpm), the washing machine supports conditioning drying with a maximum load of up to 6 kg. It offers three automatic modes and the ability to set the required drying time manually: in increments of 5 minutes.

Comfortable, Quiet and Economical

The washing machine is equipped with an informative control panel with a touch screen, a programme selector and additional buttons. The model in operation is quite quiet (up to 77 dB during spinning) and economical (energy class A), which is facilitated by the inverter type of motor.

The shortcomings of the model include a significant water consumption, reaching 115 liters. But when you select the eco-washing mode and turn off the dryer, it is almost halved (up to 61 liters), which is considered an acceptable indicator for a washing machine with a 10 kg load. The disadvantage of the AEG L 8WBC61 is the high cost, but considering the premium status, large load capacity and ability to replace a tumble dryer, this price seems reasonable.
