In 2024, Acer's family of fashionable 14-inch laptops expanded to the signature Swift series. The latter brings together stylish and well-equipped ultrabooks at reasonable prices. The models in the line can be recommended for budget-conscious users who require a compact (in this case 15 mm thick) and lightweight (1.32 kg) portable PC for work, study or business. Acer Swift Go 14 SFG14-72 laptops have an aluminum body and a fairly capacious battery that provides up to 13 hours of autonomy (and supports the Power Delivery function, that is, powering devices connected via USB C). The filling is based on the Intel Meteor Lake platform (Series 1), so all members of the family are equipped with Core Ultra processors and integrated Iris Graphics graphics adapters. The system's performance is aided by LPDDR5X-6400 MHz RAM, which guarantees excellent throughput (16 or 32 GB available depending on the configuration), and a 1 TB M.2 SSD is provided for data storage. The advantages of laptops include a high-quality display with a diagonal of 14 inches. It is based on OLED technology, which guarantees an excellent level of contrast, high picture clarity (resolution 2880x1800 pixels), a decent supply of brightness (peak value up to 500 nits and compliance with the DisplayHDR 500 True Black standard), high-quality color reproduction with 100% coverage of DCI P3 space and an increased refresh rate to 90 Hz. Additional features of the models include a Quad HD webcam, a fingerprint scanner for authentication, a white keyboard backlight and popular interfaces, including two Thunderbolt v4 ports and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) module. Windows 11 Home OS is also pre-installed.
